Innovation in the therapy experience

Frequently asked questions

What types of therapy do you offer?

All Is Well offers individual counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families with specialties in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, identity, and personalized care. Each session is tailored to your goals using a combination of evidence-based and depth-oriented approaches.

What is your approach to therapy?

Therapy with All Is Well is focused, collaborative, and precise. We operate like a therapy surgeon—each session is intentional, designed to explore deeper layers of your experience, and always directed toward clarity and healing. We use metaphors and analogies to help create insight and lasting shifts.

What happens in the first session?

Your first session is a structured intake that blends deep listening with clinical mapping. We’ll explore your reasons for seeking therapy, past experiences, and goals. You'll leave with a clear sense of direction and the beginning of a treatment plan.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. All Is Well offers secure virtual sessions for clients located in approved jurisdictions in the state of Alabama. In-person sessions are also available depending on your preference.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, All Is Well accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and other states, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, and private pay with discounted rate. Private pay rates and insurance copays are discussed in the Client Registration Form located in the Contact Patio.

How long are sessions and how often do we need to meet?

Standard sessions are 55 minutes. Most clients start with weekly sessions and adjust as needed. Most common frequencies are weekly, every two weeks, and once a month. We’ll decide on the frequency together based on your needs and goals. Most clients stay with All Is Well for maintenance care, and others dismiss counseling around 7-8 sessions.

What kind of consulting and mentoring do you offer?

I offer strategic support for clinicians, private practice owners, and high-achieving professionals. This includes clinical consultation, documentation audits, leadership coaching, burnout recovery, and practice development.

What if I can't afford therapy right now?

We understand that therapy is an investment, and accessibility matters. That’s why we created The Counselor’s Corner—our little brother brand offering affordable mental health resources, customized wellness plans, therapy worksheets, and self-guided support. It’s an excellent option while you’re waiting for therapy, between sessions, or unable to access a therapist near you.
